The oldstyle TRADING community was better than current Europe for all earopeans

Perhaps you will also recall the early days of European harmony when the proprosition signed upto by member states was a common trading community not the politically correct and uber controlling, superstate Europe has become.

It has been hijacked by empire builders who seek to serve themselves and not the communities they are supposed to represent.

Evidence just look at the response to the FREE DEMOCRATIC vote the Irish were given last year - the result went against that desired by European leaders, so against stated policy, the Irish are effectively told they've behaved as naughty children and must do better next time.

This is an affront to the intelligent voting of individual Irish voters, a slap in the face to democracy and a further step towards a huge homogonised superstate run by a small elite for their benefit and not that of the people.

The bureaucracy and control exercised over every aspect of our lives by this small elite is a frightening disgrace and despite the plethora of questionable research supported by even more questionable statistics, decisions which affect us all are made without us being able to express our democratic rights.

The old style free trade community had right principles, ensureing harmony and working together in the free movement of traded items across borders. It also better respected the individual national rights of member states in a way modern europe, with its uber control can never match.

We are so far down the slippery road towards full domination from the heart of Brussels by a small non representive body who neither seek nor care to hear or accept the views of the 'common man or woman'

My point for debate and challenge to Europe is the suggestion that all European citizens should in 2009 be given the right, by public referendum, to vote on the following question

Do you want to belong to
a A Europe who's main purpose is to allow free trade whilst ensuring full political autonomy for your National state

or

b a Europe who's main purpose is to allow free trade and which makes all political decsions for implementation by your National Government

I urge you to support this request to 'Let the people vote' to prevent the dictatorship that's looming if European political dominance is not halted.
