Initiatives must be established with a long term goal of European integration and they must be focussed on all Children.
Young children have not already assumed National identity first and European identity as an afterthought.
Influence and integration Channels could be sports, arts and music
i welcome any input to move beyond twinning of cities.

Hi Pablok, I agree with your post, even the twinning process is done at local government level and there is little or no input from children. Our record on languages is quite deplorable, we seem to treat the teaching of foreign languages as a necessary evil, rather than as a means towards greater communication.
At a time when we need new thinking especially in education, instead of lipservice about green jobs and high end r and d jobs we should be using our language teachers to their utmost to produce top quality communication graduautes.
